Isabel Overby is a multidisciplinary designer and art director working between Boston and New York. When she is not designing you can find her out for a walk or looking for a book.

Adjacent to her branding practice, Isabel is deeply interested in how landscapes shapes design and design shapes sense of place. She researches, writes, and design books through her publishing practice, Overlap Books. Her current research focuses on the act of translation, the anthropology of public spaces, and the role of culture in shaping design.

Isabel has studied Graphic Design and Art History through the Tufts / School of the Museum of Fine Arts’ dual degree program and brand strategy through SVA’s Branding with Type program.
